I’m Michael Rios, a senior software engineer and engineering lead who helps mission-driven organizations make better use of technology.

My background includes AI integration, data systems, cloud infrastructure, automation, messaging platforms, e-commerce integrations, and engineering leadership. I have worked on systems involving support agents, reporting pipelines, payment workflows, product integrations, and large-scale backend services.

What I enjoy most is translating complex technical systems into clear, practical decisions for people who do not want to live in the technical details.

My commitment to community-focused work comes from experience inside and outside of engineering. I have used statistical data analysis to identify predatory student lending patterns, helped document and explain local civic activity through Citizens4Ontario, and served as a Computer Science Advisory Committee Member at Rio Hondo College.

I bring enterprise-level engineering experience to nonprofits, civic groups, and small organizations that need practical help — not unnecessary complexity.
